2. Google+ now shows something you can brag about

New on Google+ – Profile and Page Views: this new metric displays the number of times your content has been shown to other people (followers and non-followers). Content includes posts and photos on Personal Profiles and Pages.

You have the option to turn off this metric (see instructions in the article).

5. Social Media Millennial Shopping Trends [Research]

If you market to millenials, check out some interesting statistics from a Teen Vogue survey, highlighted in this article.

Instagram is at top of the list (SnapChat and Tumblr did not appear on the survey, but they are very popular sites for millenials).

6. How to Easily Double Your Traffic from Social Media

This is a great guide for sharing your content more than once. There’s a right way to do it, that benefits your audience; and a wrong way to do it, that makes you look like a “spammer”.

Personal note: One new strategy I’ve been using on our Facebook page is to share an older post on “Throwback Thursdays“. Hashtags like #ThrowbackThursday and #tbt are already popular on social sites (usually for sharing photos). But you may find that using a popular theme, and adapting it to your social profiles, is another good way to get new views for your older content.
