Tip of the Week: Monitor Twitter Accounts by Adding Them to a Private List

Did you know that you can add a user to a Twitter List without Following them? Create a Private List and monitor accounts before deciding to follow them or use this Private List for competitor research.

(1) Go to the user’s profile. Click on the “gear” icon instead of the Follow button and choose “Add or remove from lists”.

(2) Add the Twitter user to your List (the user won’t know you’ve added them to the List as long as your List is “private”).
