The weekly Wrap Up is here to help you get some new ideas and tips for your small business’ social media strategy. Every week, we share 5 articles from a variety of sites to help you stay up-to-date on the latest in social media marketing.
This week’s list includes a great new feature on Facebook, some helpful Twitter tips, and a terrific guide for optimizing your Google+ Profile. And just for fun, we include a photo from our local area here in Florida!

1. Introducing “Save” on Facebook
Facebook’s new Save feature lets you save links, places, movies, music, and TV to view later. This is a great feature if you are using Facebook to curate content (as a marketer), and if you want to catch up with items that interest you (as a user).
I just wish we could save photos for later!
2. How to Use LinkedIn Publisher to Get More Visibility
Helpful tips from Viveka von Rosen on how to use this new feature to showcase your knowledge and expertise in an area. The short video is especially helpful for walking through the publishing process.
If you haven’t been invited to publish yet, you’ll also find the link to apply.
3. 8 Tweet Structures to Generate Engagement [INFOGRAPHIC]
You may find this Infographic a very helpful reference when developing a Tweet strategy. Remember with any type of Tweet, it’s best to aim for 100-120 characters maximum so you leave room for others to Re-Tweet your content.
4. Are You Screwing Up Your Twitter Images? 7 Do’s and Don’ts to Live By
Use these tips (and dimensions) to get the most out of images on Twitter.
I would add IFTTT as another tool to use to load Instagram images directly. Search for the Instagram-to-Twitter recipe on their site.
5. Twelve Things You Should Do on Your Personal Google+ Account Right Now
Go through the 12 items on this guide and make sure you are optimizing your Google+ Profile! Most will only take a few minutes; and each tip is well worth the time spent on it.
